Office Heinzelmann Ayadi

OHA is a product and furniture design studio founded in 2018 by the designers Sami Ayadi and Jan Heinzelmann in Munich/Germany.

Sami Ayadi graduated in Product- and Environmental Design from the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch-Gmünd in 2004.
Jan Heinzelmann was trained as a blacksmith before he studied Industrial Design at the Staatliche Akademie der bildenden Künste Stuttgart where he graduated in 2006.
Both have been working together for more than 10 years as designers and project managers at Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design, an internationally renowned design studio. Amongst the clients at KGID were Audi, Autostadt Wolfsburg, BD Barcelona, Classicon, Cassina, Design Miami/Basel, Galerie kreo, Galleria Giustini Stagetti, Flos, Magis, Mattiazzi, Plank, Rado, Smart/Daimler AG, Vitra and the Vitra Design Museum. Their work expertise ranges from classical product and furniture design to exhibition design, interior design, installations and gallery pieces.

From October 2020, Sami Ayadi has the honorable assignment as ‘ administration of the professorship, industrial design - innovative perspectives of design’ at HBK Braunschweig, Germany.

From October 2019 – 2021 Sami Ayadi and Jan Heinzelmann have the honorable assignment as visiting professor for product design at the HFG Offenbach, Germany.

From April - July 2018 visiting professor for product design at the HBKsaar, Germany.
